Development Methodology: varies – decent amount of Waterfall; moving to XP Agile with 1 month sprints Tech Environment: .NET 2.0/3.5, VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, SQL Server 2008, AJAX / jQuery / JSON, XML, XSLT, XPath, Web Services, Telerik Controls, Flash, SubVersion, Visual Studio 2005/2010, ASP, LINQ, IIS Role Overview/s (role differs depending on position): Full lifecycle multi-tier development Mixture of new development and maintenance / enhancements (load and refine content) Asp.net using SQL 2008 backend, with vb.net as syntax AJAX and heavy jQuery for front-end development Application layer Heavy data and database work Apply tags to ensure XML format consistency URL writing, CSS, etc.. for search engine optimization Load Balanced IIS Clustered SQL Write stored procedures and format SubVersion for Source Control Building reusable search services and ensure data protection Software Testing 2-3 of the roles will be doing heavy XML, XSLT, and DTD work & using XSLT to re-shape XML Requirements: 5+ yrs of .NET Development (vb.net OR C#, although vb.net will be used!) Full lifecycle development Solid Mid Tier and Data Development experience (Client has a solid group of GUI Developers in place) Background working with decent context sets Capable of doing some QA / software testing if needed would be a huge plus!
