*Job Position :* Core Java Developer
*Job Location :* Shelton, CT.
*Job Duration :* 6 Contract.
*NOTE: Face to face interview is must after phone screen*
*Job Description: *
This role is for new development. We have two people who are well versed in
the current system focused on C++ running on windows servers. Two other
developers are subject matter experts on the new technology platform. Must
have experience with Java on Linux, strong OO skills, and experience in a
real-time environment. Team lead experience a plus. Initially performing a
detailed technical design and assist in coding. Strong in design patterns.
Technologies & Tools:
*Must Have:*
Core Java
Unix/Linux experience
Object Oriented Concepts
TCP
C++
RDBMS/SQL, stored procedures
Design Patterns
*Strong Plus:*
Multithreading experience
High performance systems (has used a profiler)
Experience with real-time messaging system
Experience with stored procedures (SQL Server & T-SQL or
Oracle & PL/SQL)
Financial industry experience
*Development Methodology:*
Rapid Application Development (RAD)
*Team Dynamics:*
Most developers have a great deal of domain knowledge. The detailed design
will consist of defining the interfaces and the developers will determine
the appropriate algorithms.
*Skills Needed: *
Strong interpersonal team player
Builds relationships well
Can made suggestions for doing the right thing.
