Direct client Req: Lead BI/DW Developer (BI Developer/ DW Developer/ Data Warehouse Developer) Location – Minneapolis.
6 months (potential to extend). Rate-$50-55 Max. Primary responsibilities will include: 1. Lead and manage BI/DW projects and take full responsibility for many concurrent Projects, manage priorities and deliverables, develop project plans, monitor progress and report on same 2. Perform all functions of a Project Manager on small to large-size projects. Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements. 3. Lead project team to successful conclusion of projects, on time and within budget 4. Write and/or approve project requirements, use cases, design like GUI, screen, interface designs, conversion, installation and other related documents 5. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be comfortable with ambiguity and imperfect information 6. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver global IT solutions for the company. This includes leveraging both internal and external resources to ensure project success. 7. Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements. 8. Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams. 9. Acting as the primary IT Liaison to the business function.
