*Must be local Face to face interivew required. * *Description: HTML5 is a nice to have. This person should be strong with JavaScript, PHP and nice to haves are Flash and Silverlight. It would be good if they have experience creating UI/websites. The development work would have the goal of creating an experience within a web environment like FB. They do this through web API's by writing apps to connect and communicate with web services of social media sites (FB). No heavy lifting on the DB side. Just queries and interfacing with the DB (MySQL) He has 1 other on the team doing this work and 3 total all FTE's. For someone that also had useful C++ PC application experience, we can probably go higher. I'd prefer one person to have this skill set. Description of Duties Experience using common database programming frameworks and understanding of differences/strengths Strong database experience (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, or other RDBMS required) Ability to develop prototypes rapidly for technology and UI evaluation and prototyping purposes Experience with rich thick clients (Adobe AIR/Actionscript/Flash, Java Swing, JavaScript widgets, etc.) Strong experience with browser technology, web protocols and standards including HTML (xHTML, HTML5), CSS, JavaScript, RSS, XML.
