Sales and Marketing. Skill set includes data modelling and datawarehousing

Job Purpose/ Description: This project will address foundational challenges
(“basic blocking and tackling”) by providing an efficient, scalableand
cost-effective approach to publishing performance-related investment product
materials. • This project focuses on three cross-organization needs for
investment data, creating a solid foundation for business growth: –
Aggregation: Identify or create a centralized repository for storage of
investment performance, portfolio, disclosures, and other related data
supporting investment products. – Automation: Develop automated data feeds
from data production sources into the centralized repository, providing
scalable, efficient, and timely mechanisms for data aggregation. – Delivery:
Package and deliver performance-related outputs (i.e. fund fact sheets,
performance summaries, investment reviews, web displays) using the
aggregated data source and marketing templates – providing consistent client
experiences across all investment products. The candidate will have strong
knowledge of Investment Asset classes across the Investments Domain
(Equities, Fixed Income, Mortgages, Real Estate, and Credit Derivatives) and
reporting on Investment Data from a Marketing and Sales perspective. •
Analyzes with pension and annuity product / business domain knowledge,
including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax Annuities, and
Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b. Trust Services,
Educational Savings (529) Domain • Has experience analyzing with trust
services and educational savings knowledge, e.g., 529 College Savings Plans,
Mutual Funds, and brokerage business domain information • Has experience
analyzing requirements for campaign execution and tracking, as well as
channel integration and analytics, e.g., CRM.• Excellent ability to work
with business owners and AD teams to support applications that comprise
components from different vendors; develops RFIs, RFPs, and business cases;
monitors SLAs and Disaster Recovery requirements / testing with vendors. •
Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation by
leading communication between business units and IT. • Recommends buy vs.
build decisions, as well as the development of new code vs. the reuse of
existing code. • Participates in component and data architecture design,
performance monitoring, and product evaluations. • Evaluates and implements
new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. • Serves
as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues. •
Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing
workload. • Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems /
applications software and / or system components. : Analyzes and designs
process flows and work flows, has data modelling experience and is
experienced in entity-relationship modelling : Datawarehousing experience a
plus : OBIEE knowledge a plus
Tasks and Responsibilities: • Completely adept at understanding and
executing the details across multiple operations functions within the
end-to-end flow of operations. • Displays problem solving and analytical
skills, using them to resolve business problems. • Adept at understanding
operational nuances across multiple business areas. • Excellent
communication, analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills; solid
technical and problem solving abilities. • May have involvement with the
business during its strategic planning and budget cycles to leverage
knowledge and anticipate technology transformation potential from a customer
perspective; provides buy vs. build recommendations; assists in platform
determination.
Required education/experience: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work
experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• 10 plus years of IT work experience in applications programming /
analysis. • Excellent working knowledge of systems / applications software
and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in
supporting business requirements / technical solutions. • Serves as point of
escalation for complex issues. • Responsible for developing and executing
project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
