Title: Lead QA Tester Location: Horsham, PA Duration:6+months Send me Resumes to *rak...@sageitinc.com* *We are looking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER with 8+ years experience to help create functional and regression test scripts. * *local or nearby candidates who can do in person interview with own expenses after the Telephonic.* *Good to have health care experience.* *REQUIRED SKILLS: * Demonstrated leadership capability and/or experience Strong SQL skills Strong hands-on (at least 3 years) experience testing DW applications (Oracle, DB2) Micro strategy experience Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle Quality Center, PVCS, Requisite Pro Experience with automated regression testing is a plus QTP/Load Runner experience is a plus Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail Proven communication and documentation skills Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills required Assertive Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be prepared to make an immediate impact within our QA team. In addition to developing test scripts, the candidate will need to interface with managers and directors throughout the organization to build awareness of testing value. *TEST PLANNING: * Review and provide input on all project level documentation. Assists in developing detailed testing estimates and timelines Create test plans and test cases as they relate to testing project requirements to ensure the overall quality of software delivered. Create requirement/test case relationship using Quality Center (traceability). Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies. *TEST EXECUTION AND DEFECT IDENTIFICATION: * Execute manual and automated test cases/scripts Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects. Escalate quality concerns to management.
