*Job Title: Analyst Position* *Location: Evansville, IN* *Duration: 8 month contract* *Rate : $45-50/hr on C2C MAX.* *PROJECT DESCRIPTION: * This is an Analyst position on the Data Archival project team responsible for archiving data from computer applications being discontinued. *DESCRIPTION: * Resource will need to have a development background, and preferably experience working at the design level of development projects. They must know how to follow an SDLC, creating test scripts and queries and they will be writing design requirements and formal software design docs for the archival project. They will NOT be doing any heads down coding (the apps are already written, but this person will be writing high level software docs). -Exposure to data migration, data conversion, data warehousing archival or data aspects of projects as it relates to development *REQUIRED: * - Experience in an analyst or developer role on projects to migrate or archive data from computer applications - Experience writing System Development Life Cycle documents which define requirements, design, testing, and procedures related to computer application development projects. (***Experience documenting software design requirements) - Experience writing test scripts - Some Development experience with one of the following technologies- Oracle or SQL Server relational database,.Net and C/C++ (This will not be a heads-down coding role, as the systems are developed and being archived, but this person will need to have had some hands on development background.
