Job Title: Business Process Management ( BPM )Engineer. Location :Reston, VA. Duration: 6+ months Contract. Rate *:$55/hr on C2C MAX.* Request Details: WebSphere Lombardi 7 Administrator should have sound experience in Lombardi and Websphere including installation, tuning, configuration, sizing, clustering, deployment and problem resolution Works closely with the Lead Architects on the Physical and Deployment Architecture Works closely with the Lead Architect on infrastructure and deployment standards and frameworks Works closely with the Solution Architects; contributes to solution design from an Infrastructure and Deployment perspective Works closely with the Solution Architects, support the projects’ technical leads to ensure the completion of high-level design aspects specific to Infrastructure and Deployment Works closely with the Project Technical Lead; reviews and approves high-level Design specific to Infrastructure and deployment Supports developers during detail design, construction and ensures completion from an infrastructure and deployment perspective Supports the technical lead and team as needed in the implementation of infrastructure and the deployment / integration parts of the solution Enforces compliance to company infrastructure standards and procedures Supports implementation of overall solution Develop documentation and train operations team Be available to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff in case of issues The business objective of this project is to support the Enterprise BPM Initiative. Day to day activities include: Install, configure, tune and support Websphere Lombardi 7.x on UNIX/Linux. Configure Apache Websphere bridge, load balancing, clustering, failover, deployments, migrations. Setup logging and monitoring. Setup required controls in each environment. Setup Remedy templates for incident and change controls. Document policies and procedures. Technology/Software skills ranked in order of importance: Lombardi 6.x, Lombardi 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2 (10) Websphere and jboss (10) Apache HTTP Server (7) UNIX/Linux (7) Strong scripting skills (shell, ant, jython/python) – (7) Like to have’s: Java/J2EE development, BPM development, Database development Applications/systems that the contractor be working on: Shared Enterprise BPM environment consisting Websphere Lombardi Edition 7.x, Apache web server, Oracle database, etc running on UNIX/Linux platform.
