Role: DB2 DBA Location: Springfield, IL Duration: 5-6 Months plus Rate: $market Role: DB2 DBA *DB2 Required Skills:* • Experience w/ IBM DB2 v9.5 IBM DB2 SQL • Experience w/ Developing and Optimizing IBM DB2 Queries • Experience w/ IBM DB2 Database Tuning and Optimization • Experience w/ mass data updates and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) leading practices *General* • Ability to communicate clearly with project management • Ability to pick up new technology like Crystal Reports – prior experience is a plus *DB2 Responsibilities:* • Develop, test and maintain J2EE/SQL batch programs and interfaces as well as develop and maintain DB2 data models. Experience: • Prior experience administrating DB2 (6-8 years) • Experience in writing and performance tuning SQL queries.
