- Extensive experience planning and executing virtualization efforts for
large, complete data center outsourcing or infrastructure consolidation
projects, especially involving multiple facilities or data centers.
- Detailed technical and hands on experience executing server virtualization
using Platespin and Double-Take utilities in a large enterprise environment.
- Certification in VMware/Virtualization server infrastructure.
- Experience working as a liaison with internal or external customers to
answer questions, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems and plan;
experience establishing and maintaining effective communications with
multiple tower leads and IT technical stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate project plans, status, issues and technical
information to Senior Executives and Managers.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of Data Centers and Data Center best
practices.
- Experience working as a Windows 2000/2003/2008 Administrator.
- Experience resolving application performance related issues.
- Experience using database systems for tracking and reporting
virtualization progress.
- Ability to work overtime and/or a flexible schedule as needed to meet
critical deadlines.
- Ability to travel in US as necessary and work with remote team.
- Prior experience in a health care systems environment is a plus.
