Our client is looking for* Configuration Manager* Consultant *at Springfield, IL* *Requirement Details:* * * *Role: Configuration Manager* *Location: Springfield, IL* *Duration: 4-6 months * * * *Rate: Monthly all inclusive* * * *Configuration Manager Skills and Experience* *Project Role Description: * The Configuration Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing an approach to managing software configuration using IBM Clear Case. This role requires: 1) Define software configuration repository and streams for development, systems integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployment. 2) Develop and implement software code promotion strategy and deployment strategy for each of the environments: development, systems integration, user acceptance and production 3) Develop compile, build and deployment scripts for Java-based and Adobe Flex-based software 4) Configuration Items identifying the list of software code artifacts, build scripts and configuration files that will be submitted to the State for review at the conclusion of the Construction Phase. 5) Coordinate with State personnel to deploy in a multi-server, multi-technology environment, monitor, administer and troubleshoot software configuration issues. *Required Skills: * • Software configuration management planning and execution • Rational ClearCase setup, configuration and administration • Create automated ANT or Maven scripts to build Flex and Java deployment files • Coordinate and manage build/deployment process • Good communication skills • Ability to interact well with client personnel for the purpose of deploying software • Experience with Microsoft ISA server (optional) • Familiarity with Adobe LiveCycle Server and build process (optional) *Experience: * • Prior experience with planning, developing, and executing a software configuration management strategy in a multi-technology environment. • Experience managing software configuration in large, complex systems integration efforts • Good communication skills to support deployment and knowledge transfer activities • Required experience with the requested and proposed architecture environments – Rational Clear Case • Experience with Child Care program and HHS government agencies (preferred) Work Location Springfield, IL Duration 4-6 Months Full Time/Part Time?
