Position: Programmer Analyst:

Location: Oakbrook, IL - Locals Preferred

Duration: 6 Months



This individual will work with the Team to enhance and support the Suite of
Custom built RBis Applications. This person will also be responsible for
creating technical design, assisting in data conversion and in test plan
creation, and execution of test scenarios.



This role will be able to interact well with the Business and Technical team
in the development of new I/T Solutions and enhancements to the current
application. This person will be required to analyze the technical needs,
define the architecture and technical requirements and process based on
those needs and then lead the technical effort of the Software Development
Life Cycle.



Applications share an Oracle database and are written in Microsoft
programming languages (Visual Basic, ASP, .NET).  They include financial,
initiative management, and rest development systems.



*Responsibilities will include:*



·        Development of new I/T solutions and enhancements to existing
applications.

·        Interfacing with the other I/T and business groups.

·        Responsible in creating detail technical design, assisting in test
plan creation, building and execution of test scenarios/scripts.

·        Creating and maintaining technical documentation

·        Creating and maintaining applications and reports

·        Interacts well with the users and the Business Analyst

·        Strong organization skills

·        Strong understanding system development life cycle

·        Strong understanding of Oracle Database environment concepts

·        Data Modeling skills

·        Ability to work with our infrastructure outsourced company



*Experience *



·        6+ years of IT experience

·        2-5 years Microsoft .NET/VB6 Programming. Program in the .NET
Visual Studio Development Environment  for both web and client-server
applications ? in the VB language

·        3 years of Oracle PL/SQL Programming. Create and modify all ORACLE
objects, such as Tables, Views, Packages, Functions, and Triggers.

·        Understand ORACLE database design, such as schemas, instances, DB
Links, etc.

·        Design data models

·        Configure web servers using Internet Information Server (IIS)

·        Code, test, troubleshoot, and document programs according to
systems standards

·        Determine design strategy and provide systems design

·        Strong client server and  web development knowledge

·        Strong Crystal Reporting and other reporting tools

·        Delivers work and solutions on time, on budget and in a team
environment that builds trust and respect among I/T team members and
clients.

·        Proven communication skills (written, verbal, presentation skills).


·        Excellent negotiation and issue resolution skills.
