Job Description: A software development team in Sony's VAIO and Mobile of America (VMOA) division is looking for an expert to help us create cutting-edge web applications using Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3. Responsibilities: Lead development of code with a team of developers Coming up with algorithms to solve problems Develop HTML, CSS, and Javascript from design specifications System/unit testing and code reviews Technical specifications/documentation as needed Mentoring junior staff and sharing knowledge Required skills: Passion for great user experiences Experience testing/measuring user experiences is a plus Expert developing web applications and rich internet applications Experience with HTML5/CSS3 Canvas experience is a plus Experience creating client interaction between HTML and ActiveX, COM controls, or Silverlight Expert developing with Javascript Not only copy-and-paste scripting with jQuery, but real programming with Javascript Knowledge of prototypal inheritance and how to use closures Expert using CSS Expert using JSON Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) Exposure to Cloud Computing, web and mobile applications development Experience with complex web architectures Experience mostly in .NET/ASP or Java J2EE/etc experience is not sufficient.
