Job title: Sr. VB.Net Developer Location: Downtown Atlanta Duration: 6+ months Locals/Drivable are considered first but out of state candidates are okay as long as they can come for inperson interview. Requirements: - 5+ years and very strong in asp.net using vb.net, asp.net and sql server - 2+ years analysis and design experience - 2+ years java script (more than just control basic control validation) - experience working with reporting services a plus - experience working with AJAX a plus - must have good communication skills - must have good time management skills - deadline driven - willing to do support or new development - strong coder that needs little guidance to get up to speed in a new environment - works well alone or in a group - willing to work in any technology (vs.net, classic asp, reporting services, vb6, javascript, etc..) we give them and be able to switch back and forth easily. We do all new projects in VS.2008 with ASP.net using VB.net but still maintain and enhance older system in older technologies. The candidates will need to take Prove It test on VB.net, Asp.net & SQL Server 2005 (We have test package with us) They really want someone with strong VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL. It requires online Prove. It tests in those 3 areas (the SQL one is SQL 2005 for Developers). We don't need someone to make 100% on each test but strong scores would be good, even 75% and above. Some of the feedback on past interviews has been - not enough recent VB.Net, and not enough front end development in ASP.Net. We've had several people interview.
