*Job Title : Server Administrator (Vmware) Location : New York, NY Duration : 6 month+ contract* Job Description: *The hours of this shift are from 3pm-12 am. Position may require occasional weekend work.* Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience required in server Virtualization / VMWARE cluster infrastructure/ Vsphere console /datastore migration, Central Tape Backup Experience, EMC Clariion array/ Navisphere/ fibre channel SAN infrastructure / storage migration,IBM blade center console, Win2k OS, data infrastructure, SMS, server maintenance/LAN administration; High School degree with 6 years work experience in IT Support, and associated system certifications (MCSE, CCNA). Excellent skills required in troubleshooting and problem resolution; interacting with customers in person and on the telephone; verbal and written communications; teamwork; leadership and root cause analysis. Must have driver’s license, and the ability to lift/transport all required computer equipment. Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required) LAN troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience with Scripting, Sharepoint, Linux /Unix skills are a plus.
