This individual leverages their experience in analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications to develop, enhance, and modify existing applications. The Senior Software Engineer is expected to conceptualize software solutions at both the unit level, ie. program module, and at the system level, ie. integrated applications. This individual demonstrates a thorough understanding of the latest development environments including development standards, philosophies, tools and applications. * Code complex J2EE software applications. * Create and execute unit test plans. * Research and correct complex defects. * Participate in and lead functional and technical specification reviews. * Participate in creating and executing integration level test plans. * Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. * Research technical solutions to business problems.
