The rate is flexible depending upon experience. Project Manager - HIPAA 5010 Client is a leader in Pennsylvania's regional health care insurance industry. IT organization is looking for a project manager to drive the HIPAA 5010 Mandate project. *Description: *This Project Manager will be responsible for picking up the HIPAA 5010 project in mid-stream, and seeing it through to successful completion by the December 31, 2011 deadline. This will be a Senior-level Project Manager who has significant experience in walking into an ongoing project, assessing the situation, and moving it forward. This person will coordinate HIPAA 5010 testing between the health plan and our external vendor community. This person must be on-site. This engagement will last into early 2012. *Requirements: *Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology discipline preferred, Master’s Degree a plus PMP or similar Project Management certification highly desired. Health Plan project management experience required - HIPAA 5010 X.12 EDI experience required. Experience devising test plans particularly plans including testing with outside vendors is required. Extensive knowledge of Healthcare / Health Plan X.12 EDI transactions (270/271, 276/277, 834, 835, 837, etc.) is required. Experience with claims processing systems is required, with Amisys as a preference. Experience with HIPAA compliance checking software is required. Deep IT technical background experience and knowledge is required. Skills Use of Project Management software particularly MS Project is required. Use of automated testing tools is desired. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
