Title : Business Objects administrator with SAP experience.
Location : Southborough, MA (face to face interview)
Duration : 6+ months contract.
Rate : $60/hr c2c.

we are seeks a SAP Business Objects Administrator/Developer with the
Business Objects XI 3.0/3.1 tool sets. Based in Southboro Position will lean
more on developer side and candidate should have familiarity with SAP BO
Administration

Responsibilities include:
At least 5 years of hands on experience with Business Objects Installation,
configuration, patching and maintenance.
Maintaining Business Objects Dev, Test and Prod environments.
Back up environments using BIAR files.
Should have Administration experience in setting up user security and
profiles in a multi-client hosted environment with CMC.
Migration experience within Business Objects
Perform Business Objects upgrades and new releases
Resolve customer support issues by phone and internet
Meet with Business Objects reporting consumers to determine ongoing
requirements
Work with cross-functional user and technical teams
Translate requirements into database and universe design enhancements
Maintain documentation on universe and related environments
Creation of ad-hoc queries and advanced reporting ability by using Web
Intelligence, Crystal Reports 2008 and Voyager
Clearly define and apply best practices for performance and usability of
universe
Developing static and dynamic dashboards using Xcelsius
Must have migration, WAR file deployment using Tomcat/Weblogic using WCA
windows and Linux environments.
Very good experience with all the modules within Business Objects (CCM,
Publishing Wizard, Import Wizard, CMC, Infoview, Web Intelligence
Thin/Thick, Infoview Dashboard builder, Crystal Reports Designer, Xcelsius
2008 Enterprise, Engage, RCT and Designer)
Configuration of SSO (LDAP/Win AD - SDK, .NET, Java, Apache/IIS)
Develop web services experience using QaaWS
Reports scheduling and publications experience with Infoview/CMC.
Ability to analyze data and present it visually
Very good knowledge on backend databases
Develop training content and delivery of training via classes and helping
end users to understand BOBJ functionality and features (driving through
Self Service Reporting Model)
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Expertise in creating work spaces using Voyager on top of OLAP data sources
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate
effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the
business and technical communities.
Demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills (optional):
Understanding of SAP BO XI 4.0 architecture and features would be huge plus.

BOBJ XI 3.1 SP3 Installation on Windows 2008 server is plus
Life Cycle Manager with Sub version is plus
Universe and reports version controlling mechanism and BIAR back up process.

Knowledge on Data Federator.
Reporting experience with Microsoft SQL Server Cubes is plus
Infoview with Share Point Portal integration.
