*Job Position : *Clearcase Admin/Release Engineer *Job Location : *Atlanta, GA** *Job Duration : *1 year +** *NOTE : Candidates will be required to come in for a face to face interview after a phone screen.** * *Rate:* *55/hr** * *Job Description:* Candidates Need to be Local, Face to Face is needed after a Phone Interview! *Location: *Atlanta, GA Must have Excellent Communication skills, need to be able to hold a good conversation *Job Responsibilities* This position is responsible for the administration of IBM Rational Clearcase as well as Release Engineering support. This role works closely with LOB IT project managers and development teams and ensures that the SCM and CAM tools are available and meet the requirements of the user base. *Key responsibilities of this function are to: * - Maintain IBM Rational Clearcase, including planning and executing patches and upgrades. - Provide Support for Release Engineering - Adhere to and support all organizational and IT policies and procedures regarding software development, IT security and project management. - Deliver solutions that meet ING regulatory/compliance requirements. Participate/ work with SOX/audit reviews to resolve any identified issues. - Build and publish standard configurations. Environments must be able to support SLA, user load and security requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues. - Forecast and establish plans to ensure capacity is sufficient and flexible enough to support and exceed business demand. Participate in performance testing of applications and environment, identify / communicate any gaps and implement corrective actions as required. - Develop consistent and repeatable processes using scripts or other tools to support the build and deployment of applications - Assist in supporting the Build Automation Support Tools from and engineering perspective. - Communicate and maintain relationships with vendors, internal customers and management. - Participate in On-Call rotation - This position will also direct the work of other resources. *Ideal Candidate:* - Ideal candidate will be an Experienced Clearcase administrator with experience planning and deploying Clearcase as well as maintaining and patching the application. Must be proficient in all aspects of Base Clearcase and UCM, as well as CCRC.
