Job title : Oracle E-Business Financial Consultant Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 18-24 Month Contract Hourly Rate: Open Responsibilities: Client are engaging in a large Oracle R12 Implementation project. We are seeking an experienced Functional expert who has extensive knowledge of the R12 Oracle Financials E-business suite of products. The primary role of this role is that of a Business Analyst with a broad expertise in Oracle Financial's in the R2R track. The candidate would lend their skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Work on a team as an Oracle E-Business Suite analyst who can setup, configure and support some of the oracle Financial's suite of products. The candidate should have strong Financial's implementation experience combined with a in-depth understanding of business requirements which can be translated into solution documents. Must include knowledge of the 'Core Financial' R2R track. Knowledge of GL setups for complex structures and inter-company functionality, Fixed assets and E business tax configuration is a distinct advantage. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel. Perform Oracle Financial's setups. Define new business requirements and provide gap analysis. Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports and conversions (MD50s & TE40s). QA development/CEMLIs (Customizations, Extensions, Migrations, Localizations, and Integrations). Support production : monitor and troubleshoot , initiate and monitor system processes. Understanding of business process and ability to provide resolution to issues which satisfy the customers needs. Initiate and follow through on Oracle Service Requests. Complete application set-ups to support Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), conversions, and interface extension testing. Development and delivery of end user training. Experience with other tools such as Business Objects or alternative reporting tool. Configuration & Technical Knowledge Exposure to Oracle 12 configurations. Proven experience configuring Oracle 12 in the most optimal manner meeting business requirements. Working knowledge of the Oracle underlying data model in order to support analysis and issue resolution. Experience Requirements: 8+ years work experience with Financials modules Wide implementation experience in implementing Oracle Financial's. The successful candidate's experience should also include experience in implementing Oracle financial's modules. R12 experience is a distinct advantage. Experience working in and understanding complex inter-related systems. Accounting background and experience a plus. Knowledge of Oracle modules in the Financial's suite with primary knowledge in GL, Tax and Fixed assets and with secondary knowledge in supporting modules a plus. Ability to work with a technical team and be able to understand and communicate technical requirements.
