Job title: Peoplesoft DBA Location - Albany, NY Positions: 2 1st Position Duration - 1 Week Scope: Description - Technical Architect Description: Client requires a PeopleSoft DBA / System Admin resource to evaluate the current technical installation and technical configuration of a 9.1 PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management installation running on a newly configured Oracle Solaris ZFS cluster. Key aspects of evaluation will be application specific as associated to performance related configurations, scalability, and/or disaster recovery recommendations. These recommendations are to be based upon current configuration / business needs as compared to Oracle's best practices. Specific skills needed are: 1. Data Guard expertise (preferably Active Data Guard - 11gR2) 2. Grid Control 3. PIA architecture 4. PeopleSoft experience 5. Overall understanding of PeopleSoft security architecture 2nd Position Duration - 4 weeks Assist with tuning/Partitioning specifically with DB 11g version (prior experience and in depth knowledge in version 11g is a must.
