Candidate will be providing technical engineering services for the support of integrated systems and solutions to manage security-related risks. Candidate will have some interaction with the client in the strategic design process to translate business requirements into technical designs. *Responsibilities include:* · Collaborating with other team members on architectural/design changes and system wide enhancements. · Execution of changes in line with product enhancements, technical changes, patches and upgrades, requests, integration, support/troubleshooting, and other upgrades to security-related hardware, software, tools and applications. · Configures and validates secure systems and physical controls, and tests products and systems to detect weakness. · Possesses in depth knowledge and experience in configuring firewalls, firewall managers and firewall rules. · Able to work with senior technical architects, product leads and other subject matter experts to ensure that client environment is highly available, maintained, secured and administered on a day-to-day basis. · Candidate should be very experienced in large-scale network, systems design, deployment and support. · The candidate will proactively patch, upgrade, model, document, backup, protect and expand the network and components of client firewall systems and will work with vendors to resolve problems via ticketing portals and escalating issues as needed. · Provide regular status summaries and reports to team lead and/or management as required. · Ensure that design, process and procedural documentation exists and is kept up-to-date.
