*Title :BUSINESS ANALYIST WITH EDI X12 Location :NY Duration :4-6 MONTHS Job Description :* SUMMARY Responsible for assisting in defining the project scope, and managing the defined scope. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Defines the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system serves as a business subject matter expert, and act as a liaison between the business and IT. Provides the link between the technical and the business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Leads system requirements definition, design, testing, training and implementation support. Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation. Provides analysis of efficiencies related to system enhancements/automation. Assists in developing system training documentation and provides training to end users. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BA/BS in computer science or information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 2 or more years of systems engineering or systems analysis experience preferred but not required. SKILLS: Excellent analytical, PC and problem solving skills required. BSA, Testing or Tool certification preferred. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required.
