Location :FL Duration :4-6 Months Job Description :* RUP Systems Analyst III- Use Case Analysis, Definition, JAD, Rational Rose, MS Office, RequisitePro, Systems Analyst, Verbal Comm Skills, Written Comm Skills Prepare detailed system requirements and specifications and participate in the development of system solution design for existing and new capabilities. Primary accountabilities include analysis and design activities, UML modeling, facilitating JAR/JAD sessions, and working with other analysts to detail use cases and analysis models, Functional or conceptual designs, working with technical design to complete the detail technical design and testing of the application prior to full system integration testing. Requirements gathering and analysis, Use Case, UML, RUP, SDLC process, MS Applications. Candidates must have a minimum of either Use Case and RUP experience or Healthcare experience. Candidates must have experience capturing the Use Case and other requirements using Requisite Pro. Position accountabilities: • Analyze Client Requests for Project/Work Initiation • Identify and Document Detailed Business Requirements • Prepare Detailed Design Document(s) • Provide Leadership/ Direction/Consultation to Technical Staff for System Solutions • Support Acquisition of Project Resources • Assist in Testing New or Upgraded System Solutions • Manage Project Implementation • Act as a mentor, providing coaching and guidance to Stage I and Stage II SAs on work related issues • Take the initiative to seek out areas of improvement – CQI • Assist project managers with creating project plans • Proactively consult with client and other business and technical staff to resolve business/technical issues and needs • Act as a SME regarding key business functions within BCBSF product family • Understand interface points of core business/systems and processes • Verify all/most testing at the systems level • Review test results for any system modification • Provide direction on key requirements for test plans Prepare Design documents for the application. Healthcare Experience identifying and documenting Detailed Business Requirements in Use Cases and Supplemental Specifications Assist in Testing Assist project managers with creating project plans Good communication skills both written and oral Experience with preparing documents with Microsoft Office products Preferred experience Ability to act as the project lead representing the team on cross department projects Knowledge and experience to run queries for data analysis is essential to the success of this position. Prefer that candidates have Use Case, Analysis models and Design Models experience with RSA (Rational Software Architect), Rose. Working knowledge of the Diamond Claims System is preferred Testing experience of applications prior to full system integration testing is preferred. Bachelor's degree in related business area or equivalent work experience is preferred.
