*Title : Data Analyst Location : New York, NY Duration : 6 months Rate : $50/Hr on C2C* NOTE:EAD/ GC/US Citizen Only .... The Supply Chain Technical Support Consultant would be responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring detailed operational reporting that captures day-to-day transaction level supply chain activities. The operational reports will capture the end to end dataflow of transactions from the partners' data exchanges through the various supply chain applications to the various downstream systems such as the subscriber management system and marketing database. The operational reports are used to ensure all partner transactions are processed and accounted for. The operational reports are also used to ensure supply chain data is in sync with corporate and industry reports. This Technical Support Consultant would also be responsible for automating today's manual processes to update databases to ensure all applications and transactions are in sync. This person will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the supply chain data mart to ensure operational reports are produced daily. The position will require experience with IT systems and data flows with emphasis on data warehouse, data analysis, and code development. Position responsibilities: Develop and maintain the supply chain data mart. Develop and maintain supply chain reports such as: Daily processing reports for both new and used carts Fallout reports Aged transaction reports Event received, but not processed reports Pre-Paid Unactivated reports Develop and maintain code to automate today's manual processes. Provide unstructured investigation and analysis in response to a business issue or information need. Identify potential data anomalies and at-risk processes. Responsible for preparing and distributing status and metrics to clients and IT management. Prepare complex historical data analysis and reports, spreadsheets, or files , complete with recommended improvements to business processes and operational procedures. Requirements Must be able to work in an EXTREMELY fast paced and rapidly changing environment. BA/BS Degree. Technical degree preferred. Minimum 5 - 10 years experience in the areas of: Data warehouse / Data quality Operational reporting development Corporate reporting development Business Analysis Java code development SQL SAS preferred Candidate must have the following core competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understand data warehouse principles and data structures. Database design and development (any platform - SQL / Oracle / Teradata / SAS) Ability to perform data analysis Metadata ETL process / tools Reporting tools such as Cognos, Crystal , SAS, etc* MS Access and Excel Project management experience. Experience with high volume, high-availability applications. Experience with IT operations and data integrity.
