*Duration: 1 Year* Consultant will join a group of designers and developers who are experts in the latest software development technologies, including .NET, Client Side and Server Side Java Script, JQuery, AJAX, REST and SOAP Web Services and XML. *Responsibilities: * * Implement requirements based on design specifications * Develop industry leading application architecture * Develop features and functions used by 8000 clients across marquee enterprises such as retail/direct marketing, travel, and enterprise *Develop applications on our Platform * Research problems discovered by QA and develop solutions to the problems. *Required Skills: * * Object-oriented JavaScript * JSON * Ajax * DOM manipulation and DHTML (building UI elements dynamically/programmatically) * jQuery or other JavaScript libraries (utilizing the library, creating widgets using the jQuery UI Widget Factory, etc.) * REST API consumption (making rest calls into our platform to retrieve and persist data) Validation (understanding of client side validation as well as security issues like XSS (cross-site scripting)) * Cross-browser compatibility issues * Previous experience with Asynchronous / Dynamic HTML a plus. * Good understanding of entire development process, including unit testing, build and deploy and maintenance fixes.
