Job Title: VOICE Network Engineer
Location: Bentonville, AK
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
VoIP Consultant - Resource(s) will perform "hands-on" implementation and
testing of the VoIP solution at the direction of the Customer, VoIP
Principal and VoIP Senior Consultants. This position will assist with a
variety of VoIP migration activities including physical site surveys,
station reviews, site readiness verification, rack and stack, patch cabling,
configuration and testing.
Skills Required:
o "Hands-on" experience in implementing routing protocols, quality of
service, and basic Cisco UC Manager, unity, emergency responder and SIP
gateways administration.
o Expertise in site readiness verification and basic configuration and
implementation of a VoIP solution.
o Ability to troubleshoot network issues and deliver known solutions with
a high level of customer satisfaction.
o Ability to follow VoIP processes and procedures and develop work plans.
o Ability to execute VoIP test plans
o Ability to resolve problems of basic to moderate scope
o Exercises judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate
action.
o Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and
presents ideas within the project team.
o Ability to interact across project at all peer levels.
o Ability to work effectively with and provide guidance to other members
of the work group.
Education and Certification:
This position requires a minimum of an Associate of Science Degree in a
technical field (Computer Science Electrical Engineering preferred) or
equivalent plus 3 + years related experience.
Cisco Certified Network Associate ("CCNA") or better required.
