Location :NJ Duration :6+ Months Job Description :* Primary Skills: J2EE Platform Secondary Skills: Java Number of Years Required: 8-10 Targeted Skills & Competencies: The Sr. Performance Engineer works in performance engineering group within Online Channel Development and Operations group. They will help drive and enforce performance engineering as an integral part of the software development lifecycle of web applications. Expected Responsibilities: - Works on identifying, monitoring and resolving performance issues in production and test environments for java based web applications. - Must be able to perform scripting of transactions in various tools like Wily CEM/Introscope, HP BAC, Gomez etc - Assist in developing performance benchmarks for web applications across all dimensions including Response times, Scalability, Stress and Longevity. - Work closely with project development teams to review performance requirements and approve performance test results - Assist in establishing availability SLAs for web function points and measuring them. - Work with multiple development, infrastructure teams and software vendors to troubleshoot performance issues across technology stack of network, web tier, application tier and database tiers.
