Must Have: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Interactive Technology or related discipline preferred. 6+ years demonstrated hands-on experience in data intensive information systems. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying J2EE MVC applications, specifically using Java Server Faces. Requisite J2EE certifications a plus. Experience developing J2EE applications using an Eclipse IDE a plus. Demonstrated proficiency using Hibernate persistence framework. Experience with Hibernate annotations a plus. Experience using Spring Framework is a plus. Experience working with a J2EE Application Server, experience with JBoss is a plus. Experience using web content presentation methods (HTML, XSL, XML, CSS, etc.). Knowledge and expertise with object-relational mapping, JDBC, SQL, and Oracle 10g Experience developing moderate to complex SQL queries Knowledge of database triggers, stored procedures, insert/update scripts Experience using a reporting software suite (ie…Crystal Reports or JReport). JReport experience is a plus. Participate in the full product life-cycle for Development/Support of J2EE Applications and standalone Java applications. With moderate supervision, carries out coding for implementing new software functionality. Interfaces directly with other departments to determine needs. Documents, codes and tests new software, enhancements, and/or corrections to existing software. Works with System Operations team to resolve customer problems, identify software defects, and to ensure the quality of any modified or new software. Develop and perform unit, system and integration testing of new software, enhancements, and/or corrections. Participates in peer review process.
