===================================================================== Please send me your resumes at [email protected] or call me at 610-621-1705 for further details Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 9+ Month Contract SAII - - really more of a Testing role for Ab Initio (a data warehouse tool) Skype Interview Required Rate: $40/hr 1) Support Test Data Management functions for the testing organization by serving as a member on a dedicated Test Data Management Team 2) Elicit and gather requirements for Test Data needed in various test environments by working closely with functional test teams, development and/or business teams on a regular basis and drive out data requirements for the application(s) under test 3) Clearly understand and document data requirements from various test and/or development teams 4) Write complex Queries in SQL for reading, updating, deleting and inserting data from/into various DB2 (UDB and DB2 on Mainframe) and/or Oracle databases for manipulating or creating test data based on the data requirements 5) Build graphs in Ab Initio to subset data based on a set criteria and extract from one database and load into another database based on the data requirements 6) Maintain existing Ab Initio graphs by adjusting the graphs and/or performing Korn Shell Scripting as needed and subset, extract and load data using them based on the data requirements 7) Refresh test environments with full copies of test data from one test environment to another or from production to a test environment 8) Work with test teams in troubleshooting and resolving test data related issues and defects in the test environments 9) Work with Database Administrators in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues with databases 10) Document and Maintain technical details of existing and new Ab Initio Graphs 11) Document Data Models and relationships of various tables within several different relational database management systems that are supported by the team 12) Identify, design and develop creative solutions for practical problems during requirements elicitation, graph set up, sub setting, extraction, loading or manipulation of data to meet the test data requirements 13) Support planned and/or unplanned releases and/or upgrades on various applications and/or infrastructure hosting them by supporting test data sub setting, load and/or manipulation as needed in the test environments for testing 14) Keep customers as well as the team lead and manager informed of the progress of work efforts on data management Job Requirements: 1) Strong Working Knowledge of the software development life cycle with emphasis on Testing 2) Three or more years of experience with managing test data in test environments 3) Two or more years of experience in using an ETL tool like Ab Initio for Data sub setting, extraction and loading 4) Strong Working Experience using SQL or similar query language on SQL Server and/or Oracle and/or DB2 for writing complex queries to read, update, insert, delete and manipulate data 5) Strong Working Experience in creating and maintaining Ab Initio graphs for sub setting data based on criteria, extracting and loading data 6) Strong Working Experience in creating data models and understanding database architecture 7) Strong Working Experience with using developer productivity tools for writing, editing, tuning and maintaining SQL and/or PL/SQL like Quest SQL Navigator for Oracle, IBM Data Studio for DB2 8) Moderate Working Experience with PL/SQL 9) Moderate Working Experience with Korn Shell Scripting 10) Moderate Working Experience with the defect module in HP Quality center 11) Moderate Working Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel and Power Point 12) Moderate Technical documentation skills 13) Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to learn processes, methodologies and applications quickly 14) Must be a good team player and have very strong communication skills, customer focus, interpersonal skills and attention to detail and quality 15) Experience working in the Health Care Industry is a plus Regards: Bill Garry Technical Recruiter GENERAL CONSULTING SERVICES 400 East Lancaster Avenue, Suite # 3, Wayne, PA - 19087 Desk: 610-621-1705 Fax: 610-482-9315 <mailto:email%[email protected]> Email:[email protected] Website: <http://www.generalconsulting.us/> www.generalconsulting.us Gtalk: <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] <mailto:ym%[email protected]> YM:[email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
