*Purpose:*
Provide technical support for IBM WebSphere Message Broker Components used
to interface applications and data across Our Client's Enterprise.

Provide Our Client with market-competitive skills for robust and
effective *Message
Broker development* that supports Our Client with worldwide applications
portfolio.

 *Responsibilities: *

• Provide technical direction / support for a team of developers tasked
with creating stable, predictable and effective *Message Broker components*.

• Develop, maintain and enhance Message Broker Components and Tools
required to provide stable environment.
• *Work closely with Change Management, Quality Control, and Quality
Assurance* to ensure full compliance with Our Client's Software Development
Lifecycle process and standards.
• 24x7x365 reliable support that leverages collective resources to meet
service level expectations.

Actively *participate in build activities for WebSphere Message Broker
integration solutions*. Ensure planned modifications are in compliance with
the strategic roadmap of the enterprise. Take lead on providing technical
solutions / directions to ensure systems / applications are highly
available and meet service level agreements. Work with business clients,
business IT personnel and development staff to avoid communication gap and
ensure customer / client satisfaction.

 *Education:*

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management
Information Systems, or field is preferred.

 *Experience:*

• At least 3 years experience in a development and/or IT production support
environment.

   - Must have ESQL. Will not get an assignment without it.

 *Skills / Competencies:*

• Strong development experience using *IBM MQ Family tool sets **including
IBM Message Broker V6.0, IBM MQ V6.0 and IBM WBI Adapters*.
• Knowledge of *integration **patterns* and the role of IBM Message Broker
in integration.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge in *standards / technologies
that enable messaging*, including XML, WSDL, SOAP, JMS, HTTP, SSL, etc...
• Experience with *DataPower* appliances would be a huge plus
• *Object oriented development* experience using *Java* would be a plus.
• *IBM Message Broker & MQ configuration, installation, and
administration* experience
would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

database, engineering, service center, business partners, etc.) to ensure
software delivery and support.

improvement within existing processes. Ability to draw on one’s experiences
without getting mired in the past.
• Interpersonal Skills – Must be able to develop and maintain strong
relationships with various teams including development, engineering and
support. Must understand the different types of diplomacy required in a
variety of situations and be able to communicate effectively across all
levels of the organization.
