*MUST HAVE PERFECT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND WILLING TO HAVE EXTENSIVE
CUSTOMER CONTACT/INTERACTION.*
Need to have experience with v3 of SCCM and also a good understanding of
how to do scripting.
*Project Description: *
Staff augmentation to back-fill for employee who is currently out on leave.
*Duties:*
- Administration/management of SCCM 2007 infrastructure (63 global site
servers).
- SCCM Infrastructure system health monitoring and reporting.
- SCCM Client Health Monitoring/Remediation
- Creation of Ad-Hoc SCCM Reports as requested
- Project work related to SCCM infrastructure upgrades/implementations:
- Management of R3 release and AIX hotfix upgrade
- Planning & Scoping for SCCM 2012
- Migration of current SCCM reports from the SCCM web reporting (IIS) to
SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
*Skills:*
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and managing SMS and SCCM
including: Installation and configuration of primary servers, system and
client health, software distributions / packages / advertisements, web
reporting, software updates / system center updates publisher, desired
configuration management, security rights, SMS/SCCM database schema, site
backup and restore.
- Minimum 3 years combined experience supporting SQL Server 2005 and
2008 including: Installation and configuration of the database, SQL Server
Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL queries.
- A proven skill-set that includes a wide breadth of infrastructure
related technologies (OS, e-mail, applications, networking, Web, handheld
computing, hardware, video conferencing, firewalls, ODBC, printers, Instant
Messaging. Database, remote connectivity, SAP, Group Policy, Login Scripts,
Active Directory)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude in a team
environment.
- Project management skills/experience
