Location:Miami Beach,FL Skill and Role Summary: The Data Center Operations Senior Infrastructure Associate is a multi-discipline position that requires knowledge of various operating systems, high availability systems (24/7/365) and networking over private and public networks. Main duties and responsibilities: The candidate must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision in a high pressure environment with heterogeneous hardware and operating systems - follow already established procedures without deviation while maintaining an eye open for opportunities to improve current processes. The candidate must also be clever, inventive and resourceful and know how to write automation and system administration scripts. Security is a critical component of all assignments and knowledge of current/past vulnerabilities and recommended security practices is needed for this position. The applicant will also be required to participate in a team on call rotation (one week at a time) and be able to lift 50 lbs. Requirements: The candidate must show experience in the following: * Network * Routing and Switching * Peering * Cisco CatOS,IOS and Force10 FTOS * BGP, OSPF * Web Hosting * Load Balancing * SSL Certificates * Systems Management, Administration and Automation * Must be proficient with at least one Linux and Windows compatible scripting language * Must have experience with Linux and Windows administration. * Troubleshooting and interpersonal skills * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other staff and clients. * Enthusiasm for new technologies and a passion for learning and implementing them is a must. * Must be meticulous, clever, inventive and resourceful.
