Job Title: .Net -C # Developer Location: Deerfield, IL Duration: 12+ Months //////// Need Locals OR Near By //////// Skills: Obviously strong .NET/C# skills, but they need to have experience with some Web App Security tools too (SAML, Single Sign-On / SSO). The biggest issue they're having is finding a developer with database skills -- doesn't necessarily matter which relational database it is, but they're a Sybase shop. Need to be able to design tables, write procedures, understand indexes, etc. This is a hands-on developer who will have tech lead responsibility. Comm skills (as usual) are very important as well. The candidate needs to have hands-on experience with Web Application Security and/or User Authentification. Be looking for .NET/C# developers with SAML / SSO (single sign-on) experience or anything comparable. Description: Work with business and technical teams to analyze and convert business requirements into scalable, robust, and flexible designs. Design and develop reusable software components. Ensure that both design and implementation meets the company and industry standards and best practices. Serve as a point of contact for all people with questions related to architecture and development. Present technical design and approach to various levels of staff. Act as a hands-on project tech lead working independently or as a part of a small team. Conduct and participate in design review sessions. Investigate production issues, identify, estimate, and implement solutions. Required Skills: 6+ years of industry experience. 3+ years in as a tech lead with a proven success track record. 5+ years of OOP and OOD with either C++, Java, or C#. 2+ years of C# and .Net development. Proficient in web application security, user authentication and authorization (SAML, SSO). Proficient in network infrastructure, drivers. Proficient in performance tuning server-side components. Proficient in SQL and stored procedures with a major RDBMS (Sybase, MS SQL Server, or Oracle). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Extensive experience with modern software design patterns, coding, and testing techniques. Experienced with application integrations and messaging middleware. Ability to multitask and capable of working with shifting priorities. Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of other groups; work independently or as a part of a team.
