The Microsoft Architecture Group (MAG) seeks a highly motivated Senior
Architect to join our Architecture team. The candidate will work with other
Architects as well as developers within the Applications and
Infrastructure teams to establish architectural directions and devise
solutions that benefit the organization from a technical and business
vision standpoint.
*Responsibilities may include both applications and infrastructure
architecture.*
*Job Description: *
An in-depth understanding of OO and SOA principals and design patterns with
extensive architecture and design experience in a large scale web
environment is required. Must have a proven track record of creating and
driving successful solutions to complex technical issues.
Familiarity with REST service design and iterative software development
methodologies required.
Experience in the designer or architect role using the Microsoft .NET
platform, familiarity with Windows Communication Foundation, C#, Team
Foundation Server, and/or Visual Studio 2010 is a plus.
Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recommending
architectural solutions as well as obtaining buy-in and instituting
processes resulting in successful architectural implementations and audits.
A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is
strongly preferred.
