Summary: This position is responsible for the architecture, development and support of application systems including website, web services and business process components. As a team member for a growing company, duties include performing all tasks necessary to completing projects based upon an extensive knowledge of the business and computing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: . Full Life Cycle Development - Analysis, Design, Architecture, Development, Testing, Implementation, Support, and other duties necessary to deploy business critical systems. . Work in an Agile/Evolutionary environment. . Work both individually and as part of a team including business representatives, technical staff and senior management. . Assist business stake holders and the Project Management Office to develop requirements, design and testing materials. . Work within production control guidelines production application changes. . Offer suggestions and ideas regarding development practices, application design and solution development. . Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of operating systems and hardware used by the development groups, and systemic relationships with outside service providers and designers. . Document components in accordance with development standards and procedures. . Participate in *on-call* support. . Strong problem solving skills. . Creative / Forward thinker. . Other projects/duties as assigned. Qualifications: . Bachelor degree in MIS or Computer Science or Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred. . 3+ years experience in application development using C#, .NET, ASP, <http://asp.net/> ASP.NET, Web Services, and/or XML. . Strong knowledge of relational database concepts including SQL Server using stored procedures. . Strong knowledge of n-tier development practices. . Solution oriented - strong ability in providing solutions to new projects and ongoing operations. . Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with end users to meet appropriate deadlines. . Ability to work in a team environment. . Excellent organizational skills.
