Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of 
corporate and client area technology requirements.
Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design.
Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and 
procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and 
statistical methods.
Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, 
capacity planning, and backup and recovery.
Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and 
loads. (3-5 years experience)

We will need someone who is quite familiar with Oracle RAC 10G and 11G 
Dataguard on Linux.
That person will also need to know about Oracle 9I and AIX and should have 
worked with the Grid Control.
This person will have to work off-hours.

The tasks this person will perform are:

1 - Performance evaluation and tuning for the Claims databases in all 
environnments for Atlas/Genie/ECF and FIlenet;
2 - Maintenance of the claims environment related to backup, space management 
and security ;
3 - Participation in meetings with developers and infrastructure staff about 
APD , DC releases and preparation for the DR test;
4 - Review and propose edits of the changes to be made to the databases by the 
application teams.;
5 - Run scripts in all environments including production;
6 - Manage lease replacement effort for Genie lower and upper environments;
7 - Proceed with the 11G plan for Atlas, Genie, ECF and Filenet;
8 - Assist with the roll out schedule for Atlas;
9 - Participate in outage calls and fill up outage call reports;
10 - Respond to emails, open, execute and close Change Requests and tickets;
