Mandatory Skills
·       Expert in storage products - NetBackup, Falconstor, DataDomain
·       General aptitude within TSM, PureDisk
·       Intermediate in Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, HP HPUX, IBM AIX, Linux
·       Proactively analyze problems searching for ways to mitigate future risk
·       Demonstrates leadership and independent problem solving
·       Advanced knowledge of multiple major vendor platforms
·       Advance
·       Capable of acting as business liaison, translating business needs to 
technical requirements and providing point of contact to business during high 
impact incidents d business continuity/resiliency knowledge
Specific Storage Administration Expertise
·       Typically 36 months+ experience in production support of distributed 
backup storage environments
·       36+ months experience in an associated technology (Server, Networks)
·       Expert experience with NetBackup  v3-v7.0
·       Advanced experience with problem resolution in large scale production 
environment
·       Database API (RMAN, SQL, etc.) knowledge
·       Advanced AIX/Solaris/HPUX & Windows NetBackup  Media server problem 
management experience
·       Advanced VCS Unix clustered NetBackup  Master server problem management 
experience
·       Advanced IBM automated tape library & STK silo problem management 
experience
·       Falconstor & Datadomain VTL knowledge

·       Excellent spoken and written English
·       Excellent positive attitude and helpful approach
·       Excellent time management and personal task prioritization
·       Good understanding of impact and importance of storage services to 
customers.
·       Sense of urgency around critical issues.
