Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 6+ Month Project

*Must-haves*
5+ years’ experience as a Cisco Network Engineer
Good knowledge of Cisco layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing
Cisco Wi-Fi or Wireless controllers experience, ABGN and LWAPP, Cisco
5500’s and 4400’s
Enterprise environment work experience
Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VPN (how to configure), IPSEC protocols
Knowledge of basic networking technologies: TCP/IP, FTP, TFTP, DNS/ DHCP
services
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor
Ability to prioritize changing tasks/project needs and manage multiple
projects from inception to completion

Plusses*
CCNA certified
MPLS Experience
Wireless 802.11 Experience
TACACS Knowledge
Shell, Perl, Python scripting experience

*Day-to-Day*
Very hands on role working with apple retail to set up, migrate and monitor
the worldwide network
Receiving requests and carrying out procedures within the Cisco layer 2
switching
Support stores globally, dispatching cabling vendors, reconfiguring
switches, troubleshooting wireless issues
Good Communication, team player, wants to be there and hang with the team.
No handholding, not timid, eager and takes the initiative..
The candidate must be knowledgeable with the concepts and be an expert in
troubleshooting and implementation of Network/Security infrastructure with
Cisco technologies, Juniper & familiar working with vendors to resolve
software & hardware issues.
