Position: C++ developer
Location: Jersey city, NJ
Duration: 6 months

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in C++, Object Oriented Design/Methodology and Perl
Strong UNIX background
Working knowledge of stored procedures and usage of DB interface libraries
Experience in programming with pub/sub middleware
Experience in working with sockets, Roguewave, Multithreaded programming.
Strong shell scripting will be plus
Software development of applications integrating with vendor or home-grown
FIX engine.
Trading System Experience will be a big plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BSCS, BSCE, BSEE or better education
At least 5 years of software development experience in related fields
Knowledge of FIX protocol is a plus
Excellent knowledge of the large scale, real time transaction processing
systems
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to think and adapt new solutions to solve technical and business
problems.
Strong design and planning skills.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Track record of learning and master new and diverse systems.
