They may have to also work out of Pleasanton, CA office either 1 day or 3 days in a week. Distance between Walnut Creek and Pleasanton office is less than 30 miles. *Experience: *8+ years of experience with at least 2 - 3 years of solution design and development experience on J2EE both on the server side & UI design *Skills:* 1. Should have been part of at least 2 SOA implementations. 2. Should have a good understanding of SOA maturity model & WS-* standards 3. Ability to work in teams and has strong interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions. 5. Strong JAVA, J2EE skills with Weblogic 6. Hands-on experience in Spring, Hibernate & SOA/ Web Services (JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, JAX-RS). 7. Good understanding of Maven, Eclipse IDE and configuration (ChangemanDS / SVN) & Continuous Integration tools (Hudson/ Jenkins) 8. Candidates with knowledge on Weblogic MDB, JMS, IBM MQ will be preferred. *Responsibilities:* 1. Ability to drive and own the detailed technical design and development independently 2. Ability to translate technical requirements /high level design to low level design and technical components 3.
