Job Title:  ETL developer
Location: Bakersfield, IL
Duration:Long Term contract

General Overview:
The ETL developer specializes in data extraction and transfer. They are
expected to design, develop and enhance ETL code following existing
standards. They are to follow principles of ETL design, source code control
and unit testing and ensure data is transferred correctly and efficiently
according to business rules. The ETL developer also needs to understand the
importance of data integrity and data quality and will perform various data
profiling and analysis task as well as metadata management.

Skills/Knowledge:
Advanced SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Access)
Advanced Skills using ETL Tools (especially SSIS-BIDS)
Advanced knowledge of strategies for data integration
Experience with Agile Development,SSIS,SSRS
Knowledge of Data Warehousing Methodologies and Architecture
Data Concepts and Standards (understanding of basic data modeling
principles)
Data virtualization concepts
Team Foundation Server
SQL Server Job Scheduling
Scripting languages (C# .net, VBA)
Data Governance Practices
Requirement Analysis (understanding business functional and non-functional
requirements)
 Knowledge of basic toolsets (Office Suite, MS Visual Studio, etc)
Problem solving skills
Planning and organization skills
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
General SharePoint knowledge
