relatives who might be interest Senior Security Engineer Location:Egan, MN Duration:4months Employment Type: Full-Time Employment Status: Contractor Description: The successful Senior Security Engineer, Incident Response will be responsible for: Identify security threats across the enterprise infrastructure including networks, servers, core services, storage, operating systems, web servers, and database servers Identify cybersecurity threats and cyberattacks by utilizing security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and others Analyze host-based indicators of compromise or network traffic to assist in generating new attack signatures Analyze additional log, forensic, malware or other IR-related data Review and analyze the current security posture and security architecture to identify insider and outsider threats Implement cybersecurity mitigation strategy and solutions to protect and secure the enterprise infrastructure and assets globally Implement security controls and recommendations to improve the network security posture Conduct cyber digital forensics analysis across the enterprise utilizing cyber forensic tools Identify, analyze, and mitigate the threat landscape across the enterprise Provide remediation, hardening and lockdown strategy, recommendations, and steps to secure enterprise infrastructure components Qualifications Required: Security certification including CISSP, CISM, or CEH 7 years plus experience in an information security discipline 3 years plus experience with threat and vulnerability assessment 5 years plus experience and hands- on technical work with Event Analysis and SIEM including tools like Splunk, ArcSight, and/or Nitro 5 years plus experience and hands-on technical work with IDS/IPS including tools like Snort or Sourcefire 3 years plus experience and hands-on technical work with Juniper and Cisco Firewalls, and network security Experience with incident response, security infrastructure management or monitoring services Experience and background performing incident response and digital forensics, Forensic Toolkit Strong background in systems administration for both Windows and Unix/Linux environments Strong experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering Review security-related events, assessing risk and validity, as well as reporting Possess Strong Knowledge with other security tools including Nessus, Rapid 7, Wireshark, NMAP, Imperva, Familiarity with network architecture and security infrastructure placement Familiarity with secure engineering principles, risk management, technical information security testing, and classified environments Education - BS degree. Proficiency in MS Office Tools including Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Access.
