My client is looking for a Service Desk Engineer in Redmond, WA Title: Service Desk Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12 Months ONLY US CITIZEN IS REQUIRED Mandatory Technical Skills: Performs support activities which may include; service requests, incident resolution, enhancements Production support, system monitoring, analysis reporting and application and system process evaluation Consults with developers, business analysts, and end users and will apply systems analysis techniques Procedures to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications Will document, analyze, and periodically test computer systems or programs based on defined system design specifications Provides continuity planning and support administering network backup systems design and implementation Works in conjunction with the technical resources - 3-4 years of production support experience managing enterprise applications Strong experience in SQL Administration including performance tuning, TSQL, Troubleshooting and data analysis, installations, and restoration and recovery strategies. DW experience preferred. Ability to analyze live-site issues quickly and possess a thorough understanding of client/server architectures and high-availability clustered environments Strong knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL, Clustering, and Load Balancing is required. (Exchange, Virtual Machines, SCOM preferred) Experience with HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript desired Outstanding customer service/focus skills required Exposure to MOF/ITIL processes are desired Familiar with MOSS, SharePoint services is plus Mandatory Functional Skills The candidate for the position will be a self-starter that can maintain focus and deliver results consistently Looking forward to your response...
