DESCRIPTION:
This position is to provide application development and support for
various W-2 related mainframe applications within the FSE section. It
will enable uninterrupted day-to-day applications development support to
address customer needs.
Project duties include requirements analysis, mainframe application
development, testing and, implementation under guidance from a Lead
analyst.
This position is needed for a period of 3 years.
SKILLS -- REQUIRED:
* Understanding of project management methodologies
* Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation
* Analytical/problem solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Application Development and support of MVS/CICS/DB2/COBOL/JCL
Mainframe Systems: Using Changeman, CNTL-M or the like
* Mainframe Application Experience (SQL/COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2) Including
Ability to Identify and Create Test Data; Creating and Modifying Files
and JCL in Order to Test the Accuracy of System Modifications
* Excel (MS)
* MS Office products
* Outlook (MS)
* Word (MS)
* Data flow and structure modeling
* DB2
* SQL Client tools
* Structured Analysis and Design of Online and Batch DB2/CICS/MVS COBOL
Mainframe using SPUFI, SQL, FILEAID, VISIO, or the like
* Cobol
* JCL
* SQL
* Analysis and Design of Applications
* Automated Testing and Continuous Integration
* Documenting requirements and design
* Experience as a developer in large, very complex organization
* Requirements analysis
* Requirements gathering
* Experience using SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, FileAid, QMF Tools or
Equivalent, to Identify, Create and Validate Test Data for DB2 Mainframe
Systems
* User test, System test, and User Acceptance test plans
