My client is looking for an Operations Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. Title: Operations Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 12 Months Experience Required: 5-8 Years Necessary Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience. 5-10+ years proven engineering expertise in Apache, Linux, and one or more of Ameriprise standard Java application servers (Tomcat, WAS, JBoss). Experience using version control systems, including git. Experience with Python and bash scripting. Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and debugging. Practical experience with the design and operation of enterprise-level complexity computing systems is essential. Ability to support working outside of normal shifts to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems. Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required. Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.
