DESCRIPTION:
Client has a small footprint of Oracle eBusiness r12 (GL, AP, Portal w/
2k+ users) and a custom CRM system based on Oracle Forms and Reports. HR
is done via a 3rd product product (enCompass) that integrates to Oracle.
What they need is a contract to come in and provide post production
support for such an environment. Resource would be more technical than
functional (they have functional and Oracle DBA's on staff) joining the
other resource they have that does Oracle Application Development for
them. Examples of typical tasks for the resource are (1) troubleshooting
application issues for production users (2) patch maintenance for the
Oracle environment (3) custom report support for GL/AP (4) etc.
Ideal candidate would come from a similar role / environment. So being
the sole support or one of a team of 2/3 that is supporting a small
client's ORCL GL/AP/Portal install with a notable custom forms
application as part of the mix.
