Automation Expert to do an assessment, tool selection, and training. Must have Airline industry experience and know the airline industry’s GDS (Global Distribution System) system. That is the system where they get all their airline/flight inventory from. Notes and description of duties: They do not have any automation tools for these apps at the moment and need an automation expert to perform the following: Assess the applications Recommend a couple automation tools Work with tool vendors to do a Proof of Concept with some scripting built in to demo on these applications. Set up the selected tool and environment. Work with CWT testers to train them on the new tool The first 2 apps are critical to be covered, the other two would be nice if the tool could be used on them as well. GDS is the airline industry’s Global Distribution System with all the airline/flight inventory. Working knowledge of this GDS system would be highly important. We are looking for an expert with automation (QA or Developer) to come in and assess a few of our applications to determine the best automation tool to use for automating. The applications do hit the GDS systems, so it will need to be able to do that. tool, how long it would take to build the framework and develop a "POC").
