SAP MM Analyst Houston, TX Length: 6 C2H Start: ASAP Interview: phone The SAP Technical Analyst (MM Team) – is tactical delivery role that will work on Strategic Enterprise Roadmap projects in the Logistics area. The role has responsibility to support projects as directed by the Project Lead, for the Logistics team utilizing the SAP system in conjunction with Gentran EDI. Project Support can consist of authoring functional and technical specifications, completing SAP configuration, unit and integration testing, and preparation ad delivery of training materials. The role will also be responsible to document processes in SAP Solution Manager and process flows in the ARIS toolset. Testing will be documented using HP Quality center The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP MM (Outline Agreements, Vendor Master, Material Master), Excel Data Analysis and Oil and Gas SAP experience. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Ø Responsible to help determine system solutions to achieve goals of the IT strategic roadmap Ø Understand business goals and requirements associated with IT strategic roadmap Ø Research and propose SAP system solutions to realize business goals Ø Participate in Pre-Planning, Blueprinting, Realization, Final Preparation and Go-Live/Support phases of IT Strategic Roadmap projects Ø Assist and evaluate business requirements and propose SAP centric business solutions Ø Research solutions and develop pilot test configuration of proposed solutions Ø Demonstrate pilot test configurations to IT and/or business personnel to influence final design selection Ø Assist with the SAP configuration to meet the design criteria for strategic projects in respective area Ø Evaluate system solution design proposals from other Perdue personnel and contractors Ø Assist and support the project teams to complete projects successfully Ø Maintain previously completed Applications, documenting defects and change management in Remedy system REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Ø *5 Years Business experience in Information technology, Supply Chain or Logistics.* Ø *2 Years minimum experience with SAP ERP systems and or EDI systems for B2B.* Ø Understanding of SAP business processes in the area of Supply Chain, including at least two of the following: Sales Order Processing, Finished Product Distribution, Transportation and Logistics, Warehouse Management. Ø *5 years of SAP MM SAP business processes.* Ø High level understanding of EDI transactions between businesses for management of sales order processing and logistics. Ø High level understanding of SAP MM integration with other SAP business processes including: SD – Sales & Distribution, CO – Product Costing, WM – Warehouse Management, PM – Plant Maintenance, FI - Finance. Ø Ability to learn SAP business process and IMG configuration experience in the following specific SAP module areas: MM – Materials Management. Ø Experience in SAP projects including at least three of the following: definitions requirements, configuration, system testing, development of end user training materials, end user training, master data migration.
