*Role:- ETL Development Lead (DataStage) ** * *Location: *Philadelphia, PA *Duration: *12 month ( Long term ) *ETL Development Lead (DataStage) :- *Our client, a Healthcare Organization located in Philadelphia, PA area is currently searching for a ETL Development Lead (DataStage) * Summary:* Client is looking for a seasoned *ETL development lead with a senior-level development background in Database and ETL Development and Data Warehousing* . The ideal candidate should bring experience and expertise leading complex ETL development work, combined with good communication skills and drive. Right now, for the current project lined up for this position, we have 9 ETL developers, 3 of them offshore – and the ETL development lead is in charge of driving *all design and development related activities, as well as working with multiple stakeholders, architects, and other teams including our QA team and Production Support team.* *Responsibilities:* *This position provides a unique opportunity to direct ETL design and development activities working with Client colleagues and strategic partners.* The ideal candidate for this position will also have the opportunity to play a leadership role in further defining and implementing the data strategy for Client's Group Insurance business. *Particular responsibilities include:* - Play a technical lead role in designing and delivering large-scale ETL solutions *using DataStage and multiple database technologies (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).* - Play a lead role in analyzing business requirements and designing end-to-end ETL solutions that best meet business needs. - Oversee day-to-day ETL development work of onsite and offshore resources, including design and code reviews, guiding progress toward successful implementation and delivery. - Take a lead role in *further establishing best-in-class ETL development practices in line with Client’s enterprise standards*. - Collaborate with analysts, data modelers and architects during data modeling, data mapping and system specification activities. - Oversee unit testing, system and integration testing, and performance testing to validate the solution. - Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test strategies and plans. - Partner with architects to further define and develop the data architecture for Client's Group Insurance business. - Partner with business teams to look for opportunities to enhance current reporting capabilities. *Qualifications* - *8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years as ETL development lead.* - Solid experience using *IBM InfoSphere DataStage with multiple database systems (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).* - Experience using other ETL tools, in p*articular Microsoft SSIS and Informatica – preferred but not required.* - Solid experience developing complex SQL statements. - Strong knowledge of *ETL and Data Warehouse development best practices. * - Experience integrating with external systems. - Experience working with consulting firms and offshore resources. - Result driven mindset and ability to communicate and develop solid working relationships with people at all levels. * - Thanks...* *Ramesh Reddy* Desk: *248-522-6007* Office: 248-522-6868 Email: *[email protected] * *G*-talk:* ram.sourceone* *Y*ahoo: *ram_bnice * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
